When Summer Moves On

The Humberston Fitties In Winter

One of the last remaining plotlands in England is the Humberston Fitties, named after the local word for salt marsh, in North East Lincolnshire. This selection of photographs, the first in a longer term series, taken from 2011-2021, show the Fitties when the holidaymakers have left, the wind whips through the dunes and summer moves on.
